Rapper Drake commissioned artist Matthew Senna to create a pair of solid 24K gold Nike Air Jordan 10 Retro OVO sneakers. In his own words “these are not to wear”, but a glittering addition to his collection of custom Nike Air Jordan shoes.

The ‘shoes’, or rather, pieces of art based on the Nike Air Jordan Retro 10 OVO, are made by artist Matthew Senna from solid 24K gold, and must have cost a fortune just in the weight of gold.
LA based artist Senna posted some fantastic photos on his Instagram page:
The Study OVO 10 is signed at the bottom by artist M Senna, and 1/1 shows this is a one-off.
Matthew Senna’s creation Study OVO 10 comes in a solid wooden box wth the OVO logo and M Senna’s signature.

Drake’s love for the Nike Air Jordan is widely known, and Nike often creates customized Jordan sneakers for him which have also been released as a limited edition series under the name OVO (taken from October’s Very Own, the record label founded by Drake and producer Noah “40” Shebib).

The series of shoes with the name OVO, based on custom shoes made for Drake, were available in White and later in Black, both of which quickly sold out and are now only available on eBay.
